Module 7: Quantitative Methodology Overview

The purpose of this module is to introduce students to foundational quantitative research methods commonly used in agricultural social sciences. Students will explore the core principles of quantitative methods, learn how surveys function as a primary method for gathering numerical data, and practice designing clear, unbiased survey questions. By the end of the module, students will understand how quantitative methods help answer questions about patterns, trends, and relationships. Students will also be able to apply survey design principles to create components of a research instrument.
